Chocolate cake

 i want cake........"
Chocolate and cake are the loveliest things in the world, and when they comes together it becomes awesome thing of the world.
i know everyone loves chocolate cake , me too. Many times i tried to make chocolate cake but every time it was a disaster. After some changes in measurement the final recipe was there, so on that note today i m sharing my simple but best chocolate cake recipe, so that when ever you try to make it, you don't face any problem.
here's the recipe......

Four bowl step chocolate cake

ingredients :

  • 125 gm  ,dark chocolate compound              
  • 3 tbsp milk                                     
  • 150 gm caster sugar                            
  • 3 eggs                                         
  • 150 gm butter( room temp)             
  • 200 gm all purpose flour                    
  • 1 tsp baking powder                        
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda ( bicarbonate of soda)                           
  • 1 tbsp coco powder                    
  • 10 gm chocolate chip (optional)      


You will need only 4 bowls :1 for flour, 2 for chocolate mix, 3 for mixing other ingd. and finally 4 one is for baking.

first bowl:

  • take a bowl and mix flour,baking powder,baking soda,coco powder and strain it,and keep it aside.

second bowl:

  • now in a non-stick pan add dark chocolate and milk,place it on heat 
  • keep mixing the chocolate and make it smooth, and don't let chocolate burn or stick on the bottom of the pan.
  • keep it aside to let it cool.

third bowl:

  • Now add butter in bowl ,with the help of whisker mix it well till it become fluffy.
  • then add caster sugar and whisk it again.
  • Now add eggs but one at a time.(this is very important add eggs one by one).
  • you can see that the mix is smooth and fluffy 
  • now in this mix add the chocolate mix (bowl no 2),mix it well
  • now time to add the flour mix,(add flour in parts)
  • you can use whisker or spatula to mix so that no lump remains in there.

forth bowl:

  • this is our final bowl ( baking container) 
  • coat it with thin layer of butter/clarified butter(ghee)
  • sprinkle flour 
  • when the baking container is properly coated now add the cake mixture.
  • you can add roasted walnuts on the top of cake.

finally...........time to bake......

  • bake it for at least 45 mins at 180 degrees .after that you can open and check it with a knife.
  • if knife is wet and sticky then bake for another 10-15 mins till knife comes clean.
  • till the cake is baking melt the 10 gm chocolates chips for pouring on the top of the cake (its optional)  
  • when it is done let it cool down.
  • pour 
  • ready to eat simple but best chocolate cake .
  • you serve it with ice-cream also.


  • instead of all purpose flour you can use wheat flour for healthy option (20 gm less then all purpose flour,suppose all purpose is 200 gm then the wheat flour will be 180 gm)
  • if you don't have chocolate compound, you can also use chocolate chips.
  • for best cake measure the ingredients properly.
  • before adding flour mix whisk as much as you can .
