Hey friends, after long break I am postIng my new recipe which is Chilli Chicken. Chilli chicken is one of my favourite dish. And today I am going to share my recipe.

Basically chilli chicken is famous Indo- Chinese dish. This recipe is mainly made of "boneless chicken", but you can go with "with bones".

    Generally this recipe is spicy with lots of vegetable and garlic. For great taste use fresh and small pieces of chicken. This dish has the perfect combination of sweet, sour, salty and spicy. It is serve with with noodles or fried rice.





CHILLI CHICKEN (DRY CHILLI CHICKEN) (BONELESS CHILLI CHICKEN).

Preparation time: 10 Min's
Marination time: minimum 30 Min's
Cooking time: for deep fry 10 Min's
For sauce 10 Min's
Total time 50 Min's
Serving : 4

INGREDIENT'S FOR CHILLI CHICKEN

FOR MARINATION

500 gms boneless chicken
1 tbsp ginger/ garlic paste
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp red chilli powder
3- 4 tbsp of corn flour
2 tbsp of plain flour
1 egg ( optional)
Salt to taste
Oil for

FOR SAUCE 

1 Cup diced capsicum
1 cup diced onion
3-4 green chilli ( to your taste)
3 tbsp vineger
3 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp chilli sauce (optional)
3 tbsp tomato ketchup
7-8 garlic cloves chopped
1/2 tsp ginger chopped
3tsp cornflour+ half cup water(make a paste)
3 tbsp oil for cooking.



METHOD:-FOR MARINATION:-


  • Take a bowl and add boneless chicken along with black pepper, 1 tbsp ginger/ garlic paste, 1 tbsp black pepper, 1 tbsp red chilly powder, 3- 4 tbsp of corn flour, 2 tbsp of plain flour, 1 egg ( optional), Salt to taste. Mix it well and keep aside for at least 30 Min's.

  • Till then you can do the preparation for sauce.
  • Cut down the veggies, garlic, ginger and chilli.
           

  • When marination time is done, heat a pan with oil for deep frying.
  •  First let the oil heat up and then add marinated chicken.( you can fry the chicken in sections or you can fry whole marinated chicken in once .)


  • Fry for 10 Min's or till gold brown.
  • Before staining take one chicken piece and check weather it is cooked or raw?
  • If its cooked remove and stain on tissue paper. And keep aside.
  • You can use the same pan for preparing sauce, just remove the excess oil from the pan.
  • Just leave 3-4 tbsp of oil .
  • Heat the pan add 7-8 chopped garlic cloves, saute for 5 seconds,don't let them burn, now add chopped ginger.


  • Add spillted green chilli, saute for few more seconds.
  • Now add diced onion and Capsicum. saute for another 2 mins..
 

  • Now add vineger,chilli sauce, tomato ketchup and soy sauce. Cook for 2 Min's.
  • Put salt and red chilli powder.


  • In the above mixture now add cornflour paste. And stir properly. If the sauce is thick you can add 2-3 tbsp of water.
  • Now its time to add fried chicken. Stir it well.


  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves .


  • Hot chilli chicken is ready.
  • Serve hot.

NOTES:-
  1. For chilli chicken boneless will be good.
  2. Take small pieces.
  3. Instead of deep fry you can go for shallow fry 
  4. Do not over cook the chicken.
  5. Before making sauce keep veggies and everything ready.
  6. Serve hot.
