Pasta is an originated in Italy and is a staple diet for Italians which is made from dough made of wheat flour mixed with eggs and then cut into various shapes and boiled in lightly salted water and served hot with tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese, there are mainly found in  two broad categories: dried and fresh which come in a number of shapes and varieties,  In Italy, there are  names for each specific shapes.
Pasta dishes are also enjoyed in other parts of world and in India pasta is also widely eaten as per Indian cuisine by adding spices and vegetables
Today i am going to tell you my version of vegetable pasta (Indian Style)

Macaroni pasta

Cusine - Indian Style
Preparation Time 10 Min.
Cooking Time 10 Min.
Total Time - 20-25 Min
Serving - 4 -5 persons


For boiling

2 cups boiled macaroni pasta
1tsp of oil
Pinch of salt
500ml (1/2ltr) water

For sauce:-

4 teaspoon cooking oil or olive oil
2 teaspoon chopped garlic
1 roughly chopped onions medium size
1 thin sliced capsicum (red,green, yellow as you wish(Medium size)
3 to 4 spllited green chilies
1 to 2 chopped tomato medium size
4 tablespoon of veg mayonnaise
4 tablespoon of tomato sauce
Salt to taste
Red chili powder optional
Chopped coriander and chili flex for garnishing.

Note: You can add more mayonnaise and tomato sauce as per your taste

Method for macaroni pasta:-


  • Take a pan and add water to it.
  • Heat it and add salt add oil.
  • When water starts boil , then add macroni to the pan.
  • Boil for 5 to 7 mins no medium flame.
  • Don't over cook.
  • Till then we'll star making the sauce.
For sauce:-
  • Heat a pan and add 4 teaspoon of cooking oil.
  • When oil is done, add 2 teaspoon of chopped garlic
  • Saute garlic for few seconds
  • Now add onion and capsicum together

  • Saute until it get translucent.
  • Now add chopped tomatoes.
  • Stir it well.
  • Cook it for couple of minutes.
  • Now add 1tsp of vinger and  2 to 3 tablespoon of tomato sauce.
  • Mix it well
  • Now it's turn to add mayonnaise.
  • Give it a good stir and your sauce is ready for pasta.
  • Now slit the chilies and add in the sauce as per your taste
  • Now add 2 cup of boiled macaroni pasta.

  • Mix the pasta with the sauce.
  • Taste and add whatever you need extra i.e. salt, chili powder or tomato sauce according to your taste.
  • Give a stir.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander

  • And serve hot with chili flex.

  • During the boiling process, add pasta only after boiling.
  • Don't overcook the pasta.
  • You can add butter and cheese also.
