Stay at home and enjoy #pyaaj ka paratha

Pyaaz paratha

Course -breakfast, snacks, side dish
Serving 3-4 paratha

For dough:-

2 cup wheat flour
Salt to taste

For pyaaz masala filling:-

2 medium size finely chopped onions
1/2 handful of chopped coriandert
teaspoonturmeric powder
One teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon chili powder (according to taste)
One teaspoon dry mango powder(amchoor)
Salt to taste


  1. Take 2 cup of wheat flour add salt and knead the dough.
  2. Let it rest for few minutes
  3. Till then make the onion masala filling.
  4. Take 2 medium size onions, peel it and chop finely.
  5. Take a bowl.
  6. add all the ingredients given above. 
  7.  Finely chopped onions, chopped coriander, turmeric powder, coriander powder, chili powder, amchoor powder and salt.
  8. Mix well.  
  10. Put 1or 2 tsp of onion masala (pyaaz masala) make a ball by joining the egdes .
  11. Now roll the ball like nomal roti or paratha. 
  12. May be yours masala will come out during rolling, don't worry it happens.
  13. Now place the paratha on the tawa. 
  14. Cook both the sides for few seconds, then apply ghee or oil for frying.
  15. Cook for another couple of minutes.
  16. Your pyaaz paratha is ready. 
  17. Server hot with tomato sauce or dahi or green chutney.


  • Chop onion finely.
  • You can add more chilli according to your taste.
